Hantaviridae currently encompasses seven genera and 54 species. Multiple hantaviruses, such as Hantaan virus , Seoul virus , Dobrava-Belgrade virus , Puumala virus , Andes virus , and Sin Nombre virus , are highly pathogenic to humans.
