Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis was used to examine isozyme variation in 15 populations among five species of the Varipalpus group of Aedes (Ochlerotatus). Two related species of tree-hole breeding Aedes, A. muelleri Dyar and A. purpureipes Aitken, were also examined. Ten enzyme loci were used.
