The occurrence of an epidemic outbreak of a powdery mildew disease on mulberry in Yunnan province, China, is reported. Its symptoms are characteristic for powdery mildews and visible as white pathches covering the abaxial surfaces of leaves leading to chlorosis and necrosis.
