The sclerotia-deficiency mutant BCt41 was found in the Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation mutant library of Botrytis cinerea. The mutant gene of BCt41 was isolated and identified as BcSDR1, encoding a B. cinerea protein with unknown function.
