Wintersweet (Chimonanthus praecox [Linn.] Link) is a deciduous shrub and grown as an ornamental plant. In May 2019, about 79% of wintersweet plants in the Agricultural Park of Anhui Agricultural University in Hefei, Anhui Province, China, developed a severe foliar disease.
