<h4>Purpose: </h4> Vernal keratoconjunctivitis (VKC) is a severe form of ocular allergic disease possibly related to an altered ocular surface microbiota. The aim of the study was to determine the bacterial and fungal composition of conjunctival microbiota in VKC compared with healthy controls (HC).
