The inheritance of Fusarium head blight (FHB) resistance was investigated in eight western European wheat lines using a half-diallel of F₁ crosses. The parents and F₁ crosses were point-inoculated, with a highly aggressive isolate of Fusarium graminearum, in replicated field and glasshouse trials.
