Trunk phloem necrosis (TPN) is a physiological disease of rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis Müll. Arg.) discovered in the 1980s. It has been distinguished from rubber tree tapping panel dryness (TPD) by its macroscopic symptoms and presumed origin.
