Parasites are traditionally believed to exert harmful effects on their hosts. The effects of parasites on our species are perhaps most well studied than any other group of vertebrates. However, recent research has begun to unravel the path-breaking finding on the impact of parasitic infection to humanity. This article presents ideas against the general perception about the human parasites.
