Botryosphaeriaceous fungi were isolated from conifers showing disease symptoms such as diebacks, blights, and cankers. The isolates were grouped based on morphology and ERIC-PCR fingerprinting patterns and representatives of each group were identified by sequencing of the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region.
