Investigations of larval aquatic Diptera (Chironomidae, Simuliidae, Culicidae), Coleoptera (Scirtidae), and Plecoptera (Gripopterygidae, Notonemouridae) in Buenos Aires Province and three Provinces in Patagonia (Río Negro, Chubut, Neuquén) have revealed 19 species of gut fungi (Zygomycota: Trichomycetes).
