<h4>Summary</h4> SOMATIC EMBRYOGENESIS RECEPTOR-LIKE KINASES (SERKs), which are subfamily II of leucine-rich repeat receptor-like kinases (LRR-RLKs), play diverse roles in development and immunity in the angiosperm Arabidopsis thaliana .
