<title>Abstract</title> <p>Background Congenital fibrosis of the extraocular muscles (CFEOM) is one of the congenital cranial dysinnervation disorders (CCDDs) characterized by hypoplastic oculomotor nerves (CN3), congenital ptosis and non-progressive restrictive ophthalmoplegia.
