The genetic diversity of the turfgrass pathogen Leptosphaeria korrae was examined with random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers at the sibling, population, regional and cross-continental levels using 71 isolates. The seven RAPD primers tested showed polymorphisms within and between regions in North America. No polymorphisms were observed between sibling spores nor between 21 isolates from a single field.
