<title>Abstract</title> <p>Acute confusional state or delirium occurs in 12% of patients after receiving electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). This adverse effect can lead to falls and injuries in the recovery room. The duration of disorientation also predicts retrograde amnesia in patients.
