Cotton (Gossypium L.) production in New Mexico can be seriously constrained by diseases. In May 2018, wilted cotton seedlings at the third to fourth true-leaf stage were observed in irregular patches in several fields in La Union and Chamberino, NM, with disease incidence of 1 to 2%.
