Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is an important field crop that fulfills the dietary needs of over 50% of the global population. In July 2023, leaf blight symptoms were observed in rice fields of Pu’er City (22°47′12″N, 100°58′38″E), Yunnan, China. The disease incidence was recorded up to 30 to 50% in each field.
