Stem rot was recorded as one of serious diseases of red‐fleshed dragon fruit, (Hylocereus polyrhizus), in Malaysia. Fusarium fujikuroi was recovered from stem rot lesion of H. polyrhizus and the species was identified using TEF1‐α sequence and mating study.
