<title>Abstract</title> <p>A cross-sectional study was conducted in Colombia to recover <italic>Brucella</italic> spp. DNA from bovine whole-blood samples through probe-based real-time PCR (Probe-qPCR) and by an SNP-based assay, differentiating vaccine strains from field strains.
