<h4>Background: </h4> Neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF2) is an autosomal dominant disease due to chromosome 22 (22q12.2) mutation with a prevalence of 1:33,000-40,000. As many as 50% of cases are familial, 30-60% are genetic mosaic, de novo mutations. Tumor growth in NF often becomes more rapid in pregnancy.
