<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> Many proteobacteria, such as Escherichia coli , contain two main types of quinones, benzoquinones represented by ubiquinone (UQ) and naphthoquinones such as menaquinone (MK) and dimethyl-menaquinone (DMK).
