Polymorphisms at eight microsatellite loci and a fragment of the mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA)-ND4 gene were surveyed in Aedes aegypti (L.) (Diptera: Culicidae) populations collected from six localities in North Cameroon, with emphasis on comparing domestic versus sylvan populations.
