Zebra chip (ZC) disease has been a threat to the US potato industry for nearly two decades. ZC is associated with the bacteria ‘Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum’ (Lso), which is transmitted by the potato psyllid, Bactericera cockerelli (Šulc) (Hemiptera: Triozidae).
