<title>Abstract</title> <p><bold>Background: </bold>Blackleg disease, caused by <italic>Leptosphaeria maculans</italic> (<italic>Lm</italic>), can lead to significant losses of canola/rapeseed crops. Growing resistant canola cultivars can be an effective and environmentally friendly way to manage blackleg.
