We identified Sleep Bursts (SBs), as a novel phenomenon of brief (1-2 sec), often periodic bursts in cranial forces occurring during human sleep. Our goal was to characterize SBs in normal subjects, then compare SB in a cohort of subjects with neurodegenerative disease (NDD).
