<title>Abstract</title> <p><italic>Vibrio splendidus</italic> is one of the common pathogens in the ocean and infects <italic>Apostichopus japonicus, Atlantic salmon</italic> and <italic>Crassostrea gigas</italic>, leading to a variety of diseases.
