Pseudomonas chlororaphis strain PA23 is a biocontrol agent capable of protecting canola from stem rot disease caused by the fungal pathogen Sclerotinia sclerotiorum . PA23 produces several of inhibitory compounds that are under control of a complex regulatory network.
