<title>Abstract</title> <p><bold>Background: </bold>Mobile stroke units (MSUs) are specialist ambulances equipped with scanning and point of care testing that can identify patients eligible for intravenous thrombolysis – medication to dissolve a clot used in ischaemic strokes – and provide this on location.
