Placental mesenchymal dysplasia (PMD) is a rare condition of placentomegaly and abnormal chorionic villi often clinically mistakenly as partial hydatidiform mole. However, it is clinicopathologically distinct with high incidence of intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) and fetal death.
