Infections with zoonotic anisakid nematode larvae Contracaecum spp. were detected in five fish species from Lake Nasser, Egypt: three tilapia species (Oreochromis niloticus, Sarotherodon galilaeus and Tilapia zillii) and two catfish species (Malapterurus electricus and Heterobranchus bidorsalis).
