A selected group of strains of Pseudomonas syringae subsp. savastanoi from olive, oleander and ash were compared with pathogenicity tests and with DNA restriction fingerprinting using sodium dodecyl sulphate‐polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS‐PAGE) and silver staining.
