<title>Abstract</title> <p>Background Pheochromocytoma is a rare catecholamine-secreting neuroendocrine tumour of the adrenal medulla that can present with episodic headaches, palpitations, sweating, and hypertension. Catecholamine excess can induce hyperglycemia by suppressing insulin secretion and promoting hepatic gluconeogenesis, thereby mimicking primary diabetes mellitus.
