<title>Abstract</title> <p>Background Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), a procedure to treat pancreaticobiliary disorders, is generally safe. However, adverse events (AEs) of post-ERCP pancreatitis (PEP) can occur, which can be fatal.
