The wood anatomy of all four woody genera of the tribe Heteromorpheae (Apiaceae, subfamily Apioideae) has been described and compared, based on 40 wood samples (representing nine species of Anginon, one species of Glia, three species of Heteromorpha and two species of Polemannia).
