Proline/hydroxyproline-rich glycoprotein (P/HRGP) level in pearl millet genotypes resistant to downy mildew increase after inoculation with the oomycete pathogen Sclerospora graminicola. Using purified P/HRGPs from pearl millet cell walls, polyclonal antibodies (Pab-P/HRGP) were raised in rabbit.
