Okra, Abelmoschus esculentus (Linn.) Moench, is a vegetable crop cultivated widely in America, Japan, and China. In October 2017, leaf blight was observed on greenhouse-grown okra in Hunan, China. The lesions were yellow-brown, necrotic, and sunken. Yield and quality were reduced. Plants in five hoop houses were surveyed, and the incidence of the diseased plants was 60%.
