A survey of Burkholderia cepacia complex (Bcc) species was conducted in sputum from cystic fibrosis (CF) patients in China. One hundred and four bacterial isolates were recovered on B. cepacia selective agar and 42 of them were assigned to Bcc by PCR assays.
