Fibrodontia alba sp. nov. is described from central Taiwan. Its major diagnostic features are white, minutely and densely aculeate hymenial surface, colorless generative hyphae, colorless, in mass pale colored, narrow, moderately encrusted skeletal-like hyphae in aculeal trama and ellipsoid basidiospores.
