The ascomycete, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum , has a broad host range and causes yield loss in dicotyledonous crops world wide. Genomic diversity and aggressiveness were determined in a population of 127 isolates from individual canola ( Brassica napus ) fields in western Canada.
