Abstract excerpt

Mutants of the pathogenic Streptomyces scabies strain RB4 that are resistant to an antibiotic produced by the potato-scab-suppressive isolate S. diastatochromogenes strain PonSSII arose spontaneously at a frequency of 10(-4).
