Based on microbiological and histopathological examinations and DNA sequencing, several outbreaks of mycobacteriosis in the reared sturgeons, including Chinese sturgeon (Acipenser sinensis Gray) and Amur sturgeon (Acipenser schrencki), were identified during 2009 to 2010.
