<title>Abstract</title> Bacterial panicle blight (BPB), caused by <italic>Burkholderia glumae</italic> and <italic>Burkholderia gladioli</italic>, poses a significant threaten to rice production in Malaysia, with yield losses reaching up to 75% in severely infected fields.
