Apple (Malus pumila Mill.) originates from Asia and is cultivated worldwide in temperate and subtropical environments. In September 2018, twig blight was observed on ‘Yanfu 3’ apple cultivar, a descendent of ‘Fuji’ via ‘Changfu2’, in an orchard located at Weihai, Shandong Province, China (37°5′ N; 122°1′ E).
