<title>Abstract</title> <p>Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a highly aggressive malignancy associated with rapid progression and an abysmal prognosis. It is reported that chronic pancreatitis can increase the risk of developing PDAC by 16-fold.
