Forty isolates of Yersinia ruckeri from Italy (4), Turkey (24), the USA (10), and two type strains were compared by using biochemical test, pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE), and lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and outer membrane protein (OMP) profiles.
