Auricularia polytricha (Mont.) Sacc., one of the most commercially important mushrooms in China, possesses a large amount of polysaccharides and edible fibers (Yu et al. 2009). During May and June of 2010 to 2016, similar cobweb disease symptoms (Carrasco et al. 2017; Wang et al. 2015) were observed in A. polytricha farms in Fengxian County, Jiangsu Province, China.
