<h4>Summary</h4> The biotrophic fungal pathogen Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici ( Bgt ) is a crucial factor causing reduction of global wheat production. Wild wheat relatives, e.g. Thinopyrum intermedium, is one of the wild-used parents in wheat disease-resistant breeding.
