Phytophthora cinnamomi is a major pathogen of cultivated macadamia (Macadamia integrifolia, Macadamia tetraphylla and their hybrids) worldwide. The susceptibility of the two non-edible Macadamia species (Macadamia ternifolia and Macadamia jansenii) to P. cinnamomi is not well-understood.
