Soybean plants showing symptoms of root rot were collected from fields in western Canada to determine the etiology of the disease. Four Fusarium spp., Fusarium avenaceum, Fusarium culmorum, Fusarium oxysporum and Fusarium proliferatum, were identified based on their cultural and morphological characteristics.
