<h4>Background: </h4> Klebsiella pneumoniae is part of the ESKAPE (Enterococcus faecium, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobacter spp) group of MDR pathogens.
